Mira was very generous to donate the Hero's Art Journey Home Edition! Thank you, Mira! And as for me, I am ready for a nap! Oh, wait...I have other work piled up and waiting for me! :) Happy to hear it was a great experience, Kristi! I achieved my goal, then. :)

Just when you thought ReFoReMo couldn't get any better—it does! Woo hoo! Congrats to all the winners, and I'm talking first about those who participated throughout the month and then those who are fortunate in the prize category, including me! Now, Carrie, take a few minutes off and go get a spa treatment, or something. You've been an amazing organizer-moderator-instigator-tabulator-motivator-etc etc and chanteuse, with the intention of creating a wonderful learning community. Thank you!

You are welcome, Jilanne! Taking breaks is a tough choice when there is so much to do, but I have to do something for myself... maybe a nap or a walk. :)

Thanks Carrie. It has been a wonderful month of reading and researching picture books. Thank you for organising it all. I think it has been a great success. And of course thank you for organising all the prizes. I'm happy to say that I'm one of those winners too, and that I've won a fantastic prize.

And here is to me hopefully getting a blog post up about ReFoReMo over Easter.

As I mentioned in my email, completing the challenge was a prize in itself, as it's gotten me excited about my next project and has allowed me to do the research to facilitate it as well as offering up so many great recommendations of mentor texts to help with both this project and others. It's been a fabulous month! Thank you so much, Carrie! And a big thank you to all your guests who gave both their time and generous prizes! I'm thrilled over my prize win!

It is truly an honor to serve the kidlit community in this way. I could not have done it with such impact if it weren't for the many different viewpoints. Hooray for our guest-educators!!!
